Smith and Wesson M&P - extended slide release

Has anyone used, bought, seen, installed, or fondled an extended slide release for the M&P in Canada yet ? I really want one for my MP40 and would prefer not sending the gun to the S&W Depot for installation if at all possible....

Just wanted to up this one .... are they available here in Canada, if at all ? I want another M&P but the stiffness of the slide release is holding me back...

I don't see that part. If they had a beefy slide release, I'd buy one.

It looks as though the new M&Ps come standard with a slide release that has a bit of a step on it to help with downward leverage. Seems as though most of the problems stem back to burrs in certain grooves around the slide release that need to be removed (or at least a bit of polishing helps matters greatly).
