Smith and Wesson MP - Updated 2.0

Canik Tp9 is a far better pistol just being honest

Please be specific. What exactly is better?

Right away I see
- poor selection of back straps (only 2)
- back straps wont cover the area where you hand web is, only palm area is covered, so only limited area can be adjusted
- no front serrations
- no proven record of reliability
- poor rear sights
+ standard shape of trigger, unlike m&p abomination (but that what they have just fixed with updated 2.0)

What am I missing?

Rear sight is great, blacked out like it should be, great trigger, trigger reach is fine for me, with smaller grip insert and my large size hand, there are good reliability reports out there, and we got along for years without frt serrations. I have had a few glocks, they were ok, but none were better than my tp9. Glock sold so many guns because American tv, and cops carry them, so people think they need them as well lol

Oh man im so hyped for these. Of the 20+ different handgun ive tried over the year nothing beat my 2.0. Can’t wait to take the optic off my PDP and never touch it again.

Let me get this straight. The original is the plain ‘ol M&P, the later version was the M&P 2.0 and this latest update is the M&P M2.0?

Confusing. Just should have called it 2.1 or 3.0. Are there big differences between them? I haven’t been keeping up with these but I do have an original M&P Carry and Range kit that I bought in 2012 or so for a great price. Think it was $525 or so.
