Anyone have any Canadian relevant information about the Response? I reached out to North Sylva about it and radio silence. Retail $800USD so could come in $1200 here. Even in Restricted format it'll sell. Smith makes a p320 conversion already.

Man that looks sharp. Sense it may be an improvement over the FX9 at least controls wise. If the FPC is any indication (I love, love, love my FPC), S&W is generating a strong presence in the PCC market. I would 100% save up for a Response.

Edit: just remembered the c21 roadblocks. Wouldn't this fall under the characteristics for what the now passed law prescribes as a model of new design that has the other c21 aspects that will make import impossible?

Wonder if there is any news on this. I don't have any PCC and this is the only one that would open my wallet, I've seen FPC and I didn't like it.

The FPC is an incredibly well thought out and executed PCC. I love it. It’s not only functional for various applications but incredibly reliable. Most of the other PCCs don’t interest me, but I would absolutely get a response if they became available.

As a competition PCC I don't see the FPC being much of a player, I am thinking reloads with that small stiff mag release. Not even sure it is a decent bush gun either. To much caliber for rabbits, upland game, and squirrels and not enough for serious protection against predators except for the elusive two legged predator some think is out there. It is a fun little plinker but so are .22lr semis that operate at a fraction of the cost. Just saying.
With the current laws now in effect I would be surprised if the carbine can come in which is a shame. Does Smith offer a 18" + barrel in their
catalogue that would be hint if it is importable.
Take Care
Bob

It’s an interesting design, for sure.
