Smith and Wesson SD40VE

Can anyone tell me if the Smith and Wesson SD40VE is available in Canada and if so where might I get one?

Looks to be a 4" barrel, so it would be prohibited

My Dad, who lives in the U.S., owns two of the 9mm version (SD9VE). I asked him how he likes them, and he said he's going to buy a Glock as soon as he can. The only difference is the trigger, which he hates, and the two-tone finish. I would suggest a Glock or an M&P. That being said, I'll be shooting the snot out of it when I go down to see him this month.
