OP, if it's drilled and tapped then you might consider making it into a faux sniper with late production parts. Or you could just keep it as is if it's accurate enough for hunting. Those actions are strong and some of those barrels are excellent shooters. A bit heavy by today's standards but that reduces recoil and makes them pleasant to shoot.
 
SC made slightly more than 234,000 O3A3s. There's little to choose from between them and the Remington 03A3s. SC used barrels made by High Standard, even though they are marked SC. High Standard also made replacement barrels for the M1903 which are fine shooters.
