Hello,

I am trying to think of something intelligent for my first thread so here goes...

Please forgive if this has been covered before.

I have noticed that the Smith Enterprises Mark 14 SEI rifle in the Sage stock also sports their own scope mount, why? Is the Sage setup less stable. This would require removing some of the Sage rail for clearance as the Smith mount is 5 3/8" long or 7" for the extended version.

Would the A.R.M.S. #18, which is 4 1/4" long, not require removal of the Sage rail?

Thanks

Even the ARMS #18 requires removal of approximately 3 ridges of the SAGE EBR's top rail. One would be enough, however you need to leave some space for the allen key.
