Smith Mod 10 with C broadarrow

It's a Military and Police AKA Victory Model at that time- the forerunner of the Mod 10. They used thousands of them during WW2, I'm pretty sure every allied government had them in inventory. It's chambered in either 38 S&W, OR 38 S&W Special - don't make the mistake of trying to use 38 Special in a 38 S&W gun - very different rounds. That one is in very nice shape, I'm digging the Tyler T grip adapter on the magna grips.
 
Looks to be in nice shape. At least its not a prohib, however, the biggest drawback is the caliber. .38S&W [38-200] This was a sort-of popular caliber during the war but not now. There are some die-hard 38S&W fans, and you might market to them. The rest of us prefer 38 S&W special. Unfortunately, conversion is probably not worth the cost. Should you post it on the EE, I would ask for C$300.00...
 
I agree with everything said and the asking price of $300 to $350. Not too many of these around with Bright blue finish.
Most were a wartime phosphate finish. The blue might mean a 1950ish date. I think after that everything was 38 spl. and not 38S7W
 
Most of them that you will find in Canada were made in .38S&W because they were supplied to Britain and Canada to use the British standard .380 pistol cartridge that was in the system for the Webley and Enfield service revolvers. I heard that the U.S. Navy bought some specified in .38 Special but those of course tended to end up in the U.S. when sold off surplus.
