Afternoon all.
I've a Colt New Service in 455 Eley that I'd like to get converted to 45 LC ( or 45 Schofield...that might be another option )
I'm aware that this will negate any collectors value on the piece... it functions OK, but the surface is badly cratered. Not enough to cast doubt on firing it, but no-one would dream of buying it.

I know this involves shaving the cylinder and reaming it to move the shoulder out. Other than that it should be ready to go with lower ranked reloads...as in no +P loads.
Please don't embarrass yourself by suggesting 45 ACP and moonclips...the BBL is at .454, not .451. It'd work, but poorly IMO.
