Not gonna lie, I love the 1500, and have owned Howas, Mossbergs, Weatherby Vanguards and a Smith & Wesson. Came close to picking up a few other brandings, but still have 3 in the safe.

Aren't those made by howa? Rws model 89 rofles are super nice too and also made by howa.

Yes, the 1500 was rebadged for S&W, Mossberg, Weatherby, kassar as the Churchill, the RWS 89, and likely more.

I have a really nice classic2000 in 6.5x55 (fairfox), but gng has an rws model 89 in 6.5x55 and man, its like the siren song even though its pretty much what I have.. Haha.

Have one in 7mag, it is a excellent shooter.
