there only on the no go list if its .32 S&W or .32 colt so if you had it made to work with .32 acp only witch is not on the no go list say if it was .32 s&w short then it could be reamed out for .32 acp witch is semi rimmed it could be stamped with .32 acp and be on your merry way as with all old pre 1898 guns cast loads only but it would still be antique
you can have a .38 S&W made into a .38 special if it was a single shot
its just like if i buy a .22 pistol thats antique in the US and have the chamber lined with tubing and have it chamber for .22 bb cap(even shorter then .22 short the bb cap was the first .22 rimfire)
