Does anybody know if this handgun is available in Canada? I used to own 4506 and had a very good experience with it. It was extremely accurate and reliable, although slightly large. It seems that 4566 is a bit smaller.

S&W4566 are 108MM lenght, so restricted only. It is a third gen traditional DA/SA, steel frame, novak sight. There are not a lot around, But I saw one on the EE some time ago.

yes i was wondering this too, they are still being made, and are actually on the smith wesson website. they still make this one and the alloy frame varient.

wonder if any s&w importers can bring this in .

So, does anyone sell them? I saw one on EE about a year ago, and still regret not buying it. It was decently priced and a tactical version as well. S&W lists them on their website in the law enforcement section. The barrel length listed seems to be legal in Canada. If this gun shoots as well as my 4506 used to shoot before I sold it, I would take it in a blink of an eye. For comparison, it was way more accurate than my Sig 226 and my friends Para Ordnance in .45. It also never misfired with any kind of crappy led ammunition that I put through it. My friend's Para choked on half of the stuff that went through the Smith.
