Can somebody tell me how to remove the firing pin on a smith & wesson 41

for cleaning purpose .

Is that easy to put it back or too complicated.

pictures will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

You should never have to remove the firing pin for cleaning. However, it doesn't hurt to know how in case of the highly unlikely event of a breakage. Mind you, I've had my 41 for 30 years and have never changed anything but the grips.
There's a free .PDF manual on S&W's page under 'Quick Links'. You'll need Adobe Reader if you don't have it already. That's a free download too.
Have a look at this exploded drawing too. http://stevespages.com/ipb-sandw-41.html
Field strip. Take out the bolt pin, then the bolt and the firing pin should come out the back. Be very careful not to lose the spring.

The reason I will do it , is may be there is some dirt stock inside and may be it is giving me a lite strike , keep in mind I only have 5000 rounds through the gun.

Thanks.

Change ammo. Smith 41's are notorious for being extremely picky about what ammo they'll both shoot well and cycle the action. No two are alike. One will be happy with one brand of ammo while another won't be. Until you find the brand it likes, it can make you crazy.
You have to try as many brands of ammo as you can the find the ammo that your pistol likes. The price of the ammo doesn't matter either.
Mine will only shoot and cycle Remington Target and IVI Standard Velocity for bullseye shooting. It works just fine with high velocity ammo though. The pickiness of a 41 is about target velocity ammo. Anybody who tells you that high velocity ammo will damage a 41 is confused. Lots of our Southern cousins hunt tree rats and such with a 41.
