Hi.
This is about round butt frames, not the square ones: I got a N frame 629-8.Looking for a wood grip, I removed the original rubber/plastic ones and found the metal frame part holding it rather tiny compared to the rest of the N frame. I got small hands, so the lower third of the grip is unused by me. I know for a fact that the main ( hammer ) spring is interchangeable between K, L and N frames...would that indicate same grip frame dimensions, just the amount of wood or plastic being different per model? It's a lot easier to come by K grips... Would be nice if one that owns both sizes could compare and chime in.
Thanks,
CG
