SMLE barrel needed - Advice on locating

Does anyone know where to find a barrel for a SMLE, are they typically available? What kind of price can one expect to pay?

You need to give more information. What model of SMLE do you have? The No.1 Mk.III has the rear sight on the barrel......the No. 4 rifle barrel is a bit heavier, and it does not have the sights on the barrel. The two do not interchange.

No.1 Mk III Replacement barrel

Thanks to all, it is marked a III.

I know little more on this piece and the gun deserves to be restored as the balance of the rifle is mint, save the bore that looks like a 50 year old stove pipe.

A No4 barrel will index 180 degrees out. so no help there.
