SMLE - Butt Plate ??

I have search quite a few sites and not been able to find one that is tapered :(
 
Looks like its for a No4 Mk1 or 2 as it has an F 54 stamped on the butt trap Fazackerly plus the tang at the top is round the one on No1Mk3s are kinda round but more pointy like a rounded off arrowhead .

It may have been refurbed by Faz in 54 but anything after the No4 came into production had either pot metal or steel buttplates.

Definitely a #4. I haven’t seen one with the bottom that tapered. I would say someone has reshaped it to fit a stock. The bottom should be fatter. I pulled my extra butt plates out to compare to your pictures. My Fazakerly is marked F 54 and fatter. It’s brass also. Fazakerly was still using brass plates post war. I have a 48 and 52 with them.
