I inherited this rifle from my grandfather. Unfortunately he passed so I have no info about the rifle.
From the rifle's markings I have figured it out to be a 1917 Enfield made no 1 mark III*
Now I am trying to figure out which unit used the rifle based on the buttstock disk and the marking on the buttstock.
I have researched on the internet and gunnutz but came up empty.
Hopefully someone can help me.
