I have a smle mkIII. On the right side of the receiver it has a lion's (Tiger / cat?) face with a script of symbols above and below. The left side of the receiver says that it is a BSA gun. On the front right of the reciever it has another script stamped in. The barrel just ahead of the receiver has a symbol of three rifles stacked together. The front left of the receiver has a BM stamp with a symbol above it. The safety has III stamped on it. Can anyone tell me more about this gun? Thanks

Thanks for the information. That is the gun. I hadn't been able to find it on the internet at all. Unfortunately the forearm wood has been shortened. Other than that it is in decent shape.
