smle mk3 mags question

Hey folks. I have an smle mk3 that was sporterized. Has two mags. My question is this: are these mags interchangeable? I'm going to sell the gun and I'm wondering if these mags will work in any smle. mk3.

Maybe. If both work in one rifle, great. The magazines were never intended to be interchangeable; soldiers were not issued multiple magazines. About the only time that magazines were removed was for cleaning.
In nice shape, a magazine will bring $40.

That's what I thought. One mag is perfect, the other was painted and is peeling. I'll likely just sell em both with the rifle, as I've used both and they cycled rounds. Thanks
