Just wondering what is the right way to install web sling,do the hooks face the wood or away?ive seen both ways. Thx

Towards the wood will scratch it. If that matter to you.

The only things that you should see on the outside are the claws. The brass tabs should be next to the timber with the smooth side of the rivits next to the wood.
Lower loop should be one hand breath wide
Any adjustments will be done with the upper loop

Is there a best place where to buy those slings? I think I will need 3-4 of them!! How to recognize an original sling than a reproduction?

A bit off topic, which model was on the No 4 Mk 2?
