SMLE stock disc info

Hi all I have been building an SMLE.Last year maybe 2 now I received a copy of my Great uncles War diary.In it is a pic of him holding an SMLE.i have been picking up parts here and there building a Brit one.I have a blank stock disc.I know these were scrubbed or the holes filled but I would like to have it marked with his unit # He was in the Middlesex Regt D company 8th battalion and served with them from Normandy to Germany .Can anyone show me what the stock disc would look like for this unit.Dave

If you can find a copy of Skennertons book it might have that marking info:

The Stratton British Enfield Rifles Vol 1 does not have any stock disc marking info and neither does the large Skennerton A Century of Lee-Metford & Lee Enfield Rifles & Carbines

can't find my copy of 'The Broad Arrow'

but have Skennerton's "The Lee-Endfield Story" and "The Lee-Enfield" but neither have list of unit markings

Just another note, Units in WW2 did not have stock disk markings.
