What do you guys think? Do you gain much as far as accuracy or distance with a rifled tube? Do you gain much more performance with a sabot slug compared to a foster type slug? Any opinions or advice on this would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Dave.

A rifled barrel will give much better accuracy over a smooth barrel, probably increase the effective hitting distance by 50 yards.

Was looking at a comparison between a smooth bore barrel and a rifled choke tube!

I don't think there is much advantage with a rifled tube.

Out to 100 yards, I don't think there is much difference between a smoothbore or a rifled barrel either, for that matter. Especially shooting open sights, which is about the limit you can see with sights anyways.

Rifled barrel, sabots and a scope is good to go out to 200 yards if ya practice.
