Picked up a nice little left hand Lakefield Mark I at the Ancaster gun show. Like brand new, sticker on it still and everything. It was so new looking, I barely looked down the bore, nice and shiney - after all, .22's almost never have a bad bore.
I was just checking it out tonight and son of a gun, it's a smoothbore.
Anyone want a like new, left hand, single shot .22 shotgun?
I'm tempted to find a decent heavy barrel and make a cheap target gun out of it. A guy at Ancaster had some .22 barrels, including some Brno #4 barrels. I figured $100 was a bit much for what I assume are used take off barrels.
