Hey guys so I have a norinco hp9 and a dominion arms grizzly. I took them both out to the range on the weekend and both functioned perfectly but the grizzly cycled way better than the norc. I was using 3" slugs, can only use slugs at my range, but the norc would hang when I would rack the action back it was fine but taking it forward to chamber the new shell, it would hang and I would have to kinda give it a wiggle in order to move the action forward to chamber the new shell. The grizz was so smooth cycled way better than the norc.

So my question is there anything I can do to improve the cycling on the norc?

Also I have seen badboybeeson offering shotguns that have been polished or something like that, the action has been smoothed and polished?

Anyways how do I go about doing this to my shotguns? Is there a book or guide online to polish and smooth out 870 style shotguns?

Hi

hey about a month ago I polished my bolt and the internal walls of my hp9 and the difference is amazing. I just used 600, the 1000 grit and was careful not to change any profiles on edges. It's totally what the gun needs to be smooth

I did also polish the magazine tube and it changes the finish a bit, but it's so much smoother it's worth it

I had issues with my norc not cycling so smooth, but after shooting it a bunch and cycling the action a lot it smoothed out nicely
