I'm looking for pics of the wood configuration on sniper Enfields, especially the later ones still in .303 that had some sort of "abbreviated" handguards instead of full-length ones and bayonet extension lobbed off.
Exact distance from the front of the trigger guard to the handguard swivel would be appreciated.
I guess that band/swivel is the same as the regular ones found on full-wood models, isn't it?

Ummmmn;

The rifles you refer to had heavier than standard .303 barrel, generally of the standard 25.2" length.
