Sort of like watching and armed Track and Field Meet. Firing multiple shots when you are sniping will get you killed. Waving a rifle around after you have fired a shot will definitely give away your position. Whatever happened to "One shot -One kill?"

The zf-41 wasn't really a sniper rifle but a "marksman" rifle. For a more true comparison they should have done an actual K98k sniper rifle. Still it was an interesting video for sure and the zf-41 is my favorite scoped version of the K98k even though it was probably the worst as far as accurate long distance shooting was concerned.

There sure seem to be a lot of operator induced errors for the wrong handed shooter....
Ian's getting better, but he still has yet to beat Karl.
What's interesting to me, is the discussion at the end of the match where they talk about the pluses and minuses of the platforms. They both shoot an awful lot of different vintage rifles, so they both have a pretty good sense of what works and what doesn't, regardless of their relative skill levels.
Side note: If you have a weak stomach, avoid the video where they show the results of butt-stroking an FG-42 to clear a jam.

Yup, but a replica that's out of my price league nonetheless, no matter how much I would like to have one... I felt so sad for that poor, beautiful rifle... first time I got weepy watching a video since the first time I saw "Snoopy Come Home" almost 40 years ago.
