Sniper scope

Looking for a recommendation on a scope for long distance shooting. Money IS an object so I don't want to spend more on the scope than rifle. I would like to shoot with a friend of mine. He shoots up to 900m. I don't think I will be great or good at first but I don't want to waste my money. I don't want to spend more than $400, used is good too.

Yeah, I have seen a lot of guys on here recommending the 3200. That would be fine for long distances? I am new to this and doing some research so I will know what to look for if any good deals come up. Is the 4200 worth the extra $$$?

Get the 3200 and a 20MOA Ken Farrel base, that'll set you up for your long range activities - and at a reasonable cost.

Rule of thumb is to get a scope that is at least worth the same if not more then the rifle you put it on.
