not sure if this is the right place but here it goes. doing some research

here is a link to a pick of this unit, it is like new in its case with all spare parts and battery pack, just wondering what it is worth as I'll be listing it in the EE for sale. any and all help is welcome.
note: this is only the scope, no rifle.
thanks in advance.

There you go.

;o)

Hey, that's neet. HUGE, but neet.

Does the battery pack have a battery? has it been used (or still dry)?

A while ago I bought the same in used condition, scope, case, battery pack with no battery, for 500 here on the board.

It's God! Where's Charlie?

Same gun + scope + details on when they were used

I'd love to see one of those in operating condition. Back when they had the odd one for sale at Crown Assets Disposal Corporation, I put in a bid on one, but never got it. The good old days when you could buy military surplus like that.

It is up for trade in the EE forum, or for sale. Was not sure about price so I listed it WTT. And yes it would be nice to see it in operation. However I had it for like 5 years and did not touch it so it is time to move it.:(
but then again I can get something I can use asap.:)

"...Old school night vision..." Doesn't get any older than 1st generation.
"...isnt that the unit..." No. It's an M3 'Snooper' scope. Korean War vintage IR sight used on the M3 Carbine.
