Haven't saw any Whites yet this spring, going to be about 3 weeks later than last year. This pic was from about this date last year, wasn't even that muddy really if I recall. Had a few lookers that day but no birds down. Still great to get out goose hunting in the spring.

I have 4 dozen silos, 3-4 fliers and 9 dozen rag decoys that I made from bags and doweling. I could use another 20 dozen probably but the geese are usually only here for about a week or two at the most in the spring. They come back in the fall but lots of Canadas that time of year so I hunt them more.
This was a nice flock from last spring April 8. I watched them for two days as they moved morning and evening between two different fields and in two days they were gone. We never did get a shoot set up.

I'm on nights this week. Drove home planning to do some spring gardening this weekend. Went to bed for a couple of hours, got up to walk the dog and now have to shovel lmao

Our fields in Eastern Ontario just thawed, and Canadas are everywhere. Only about a month after our second season for Canada's. Haven't seen many snows yet, but please for the love of god would someone take me snow geese hunting? I have never been, but I have gear, and a gun, and I can shoot.
