OK all you truley brave shooter's, it is one week before our
first outdoor match for '07. As usual Luc Pigeon has been up
to his normal nasty trick's designing this course. We spent
last weekend doing the majority of the setup. For all you
running shoe folk's we even plowed! Only six stages but
you will have to do some thinking. I see we only have about
17 shooters so I am putting forth this final challenge. Are
we true Canadian IPSC shooter's or does a little -20 degree
with wind chill turn us into couch potato's:p

Action Flag

Sig !! you need to get one of those flags like they put on the back of snowmobiles and bikes, and fix it to the back of Curt's Belt so we can find him If he gets lost in the snow. Hate to loose him and have him freeze probally wouldn't find him to spring ,snow's that deep.

A GPS tracking system wouldn't be a bad idea either.:p :)

you know, I am a big fan of Grenville matches, but sorry guys, I'll wait for warmer weather before making the 400km trip... ;) ;)

Greart fun!

Was at the match today and had a great time. :dancingbanana:

Thanks for the efforts of all that took the time in the cold weather to put it together and set up the stages. :) This was the time for cleates.

Had an awesome time! :) :)

First outdoor match of the season and truly a a great start to the 2007 outdoor season. Congratulations to Curt and Sig and Luke and all who helped . Luke's influence was evident in the design - the long course was truly evil and managed to perplex tall shooters, short shooters, lefties and righties without discrimination.

To all you guys who missed it , next year bring your woolies, blankets, you'll have a great time:D

Was a fun match interesting and challenging not that cold and , best part we didn't loose Curt in the snow . I think thats why his Dad plowed the range!!
Only regret was never have 12" spike used in winter to anchor simple things down. fault lines are in for April maybe may matches. Some shooters said white targets hid in the snow and jumped in front of your shots????

Big thanx to all who made the treck to Grenville for
the first outdoor match of '07. I can not be sure
but I think this is the only outdoor winter match
in Ontario. For those who missed it............. hope
to see you next year. Thank's to all who helped,
Georges T, Steve H and Phillipe T. Though the
squads were small, they moved well. This has been
just a preview of things to come. As we have said,
between Luc and Steve H '07 will be a great year.
Thanx again for all the support.

p.s. Steve, we probably still would have lost Curt, thats
why we had him doing Registration and Stat's:D
