So...how old do you have to be to compete in service rifle events?

Okay, it's not a real "black rifle" but it is just the ticket for her and her younger sister (the one with really itchy trigger finger is the littlest one.....4 years old)

my 4yo wants to go hunting... but she's afraid of spiders. I can't wait to get her shooting. my 2yo just runs around all day yelling 'bang bang bang' and hitting stuff. I'll keep the guns away from him until he cools off a little.

Mossberg Tactical 22 with a Stike Fire red dot.

I might shoot it for honors at the next match if TimK lets me get away with loading 25 rounds in each mag

Oh wait, then I would have to pick up all those itty-bitty pieces of brass. Hmmmmm, I'll think about that before I make a decision.

I must also comment on the pink shirt/camo hat combo- how did your wife let that go?

It's actually flower camo so it's not so bad. She's 7 and I am color blind. I just let you where what the heck she wants (for now)

That picture made me do a double-take; my 4-year old has the same outfit exactly. Her camo hat has pink lettering that says 'Hunting Princess', though. She can't wait to get shooting, just like your 4 year old.

She comes with me to the range once in a while, mostly when I want to do some work out there, but once in a while to watch me or my friends shoot. She calls it the 'shooting park'.

Ever since I started taking her older cousin out to the range (he's 10) she won't stop asking if she's old enough. She wants to go deer hunting with me this fall as well.

Anyway, how did your 7 year-old shoot, B? Did she like it?
