So I bought a Spitfire today!...

I have tried and tried, but our local Liquor Store seems completely uninterested in even attempting to stock LITTLE WILLIE.

And that ticks me off, because 7 cents on every bottle goes to help restoration of Little Willie, the very first prototype Tank.

LITTLE WILLIE is a product from an excellent Dorset (where the Royal Tank Museum is located) brewing company calling itself PIDDLE.

Appropriate, one would think.

"Excuse me, please, while I go for a Piddle."

Well looks like I have an excuse to go for a piddle with little willie seeing as the Royal Tank Museum was kind enough to send the museum I volunteer at a 10 minute short film on the Staghound...

now I have to piddle off

Now there's a charity I can get into, if the CGNer's here can raise $1500 to put a guy into a snow-white costume, I wonder how much beer we could all drink to restore a tank? It's a worthwhile cause after all :)

If you visit the Kentish Ale website, you can also order a bottle opener which produces a Merlin sound when you open the bottle....!! :) Oh and I just noticed the Spitfire 'No Fokker' T-shirt..!

The close liquor mart didn't have any Spitfire on the shelf so I had to console myself with a flight of Lancaster Bombers. Several were shot down over the coffee table and didn't make it back to base. Gonna have to check another a little further up the road, they usually have a better selection.
