I was going for a set for rcbs 308 win dies and thought I was getting a deal by buying off eBay. I got a deal I thought but I ending up with 6.5x308 dies which is no good to me. Now I was wondering what to do with them. Anyone interested in them. I won't be buying the right barrel or gun for the dies.
Pm me if your into them. They are really good looking to. I was amazed how clean they where

I would post them for sale on the EE forum here on CGN, I'm sure someone will make a deal.

Is that not simply .260 Remington? I would flog them on the EE and learn the lesson that buying off fleabay isn't the bargain it pretends to be.

RCBS does have separate products for .260 rem and 6.5x308 win:
https://shop.rcbs.com/WebConnect/Ma...oductDisplay&screenlabel=index&productId=1528

I can't find a definitive answer on the web as to whether 260 rem == 6.5x308 win.

Lots of info about the 260 rem being 6.5x308 (without the "win"), and it being a necked down .308, but I'd like to see a chamber spec. for the 6.5x308 win to compare with the 260 dimensions to be sure.

The only thing I can say that is on the case is " special 6.5x308" I will put them on the ee part if the site. Lesson learned

If you paid for one thing and got something else, use the (FRAUD ALERT) dispute mechanism. If the seller ignores you, (FRAUD ALERT) will refund you. It has worked for me a couple of times now (out of several hundred deals - a good record).

Sell them on the EE only if you think you can make money, including shipping.
