I just bought a Bren that has both dovetails on the left side, (despite it being a mk1(M)), and it needs something to fill the second dovetail.
Did you get the wooden box it goes into, or the binocular case the wood box sits in?

When I saw the ad on the Sunday night, I had just got off the road after returning from Bud Haynes auction in Alberta. I was too tired to make a decision at that point, so I waited until Monday, by which time it was listed as SPF.
One website on the Brens lists the lensatic sights as only having been produced to the tune of about 600 or so. The serial number on it would indicate quite a bit more than that. There are a couple with collectors here in Winnipeg.
On the list of Bren accessories, I just recently aquired not one, but two of the mag loading tools. This is another hard to find accessory which has a stowage location on my Bren gun carrier. Not quite as rare as the lensatic sight, but I had a need for it. Loads magazines real quick too, although with a 5 round capacity, it really is a moot point.

I have my Bren Gun Saga right beside me maybe it shed some light and also have Peter Laidlers email address laying around somewhere maybe I can get some more info on it if I,m lucky.
