So I ordered my Stag 10 tonight

What optic and mount are you going to put on it Quigly? I went with the Bushnell Elite 6500 1.25-8x32 on my BCL102.

That's a really nice setup. Does Bushnell still make that scope? I was looking at those awhile back. I haven't really decided. I know what I want but I don't think I can afford it unless I sell off a few more guns. It's the Primary Arms 1-8x24 Platinum illuminated.

Yes. I agree. What do you like about the rifle. What about the rifle are you not crazy about.
Bushnell doesn't make them any more, but there is on in the EE right now @ a decent price & worth what he is asking. I was actually thinking of grabbing it to have in reserve for the future...

Uh, caught me off guard there. I don't really dislike anything on it. I also had a 102, so I can compare the two. (Hint: stag wins)
I'd suggest to get what you actually want for the trigger, bcg, barrel, guard, etc. Don't get any stopgap items, you'll only regret not getting what you actually wanted in the long run!

Very nice rifle! I definitely agree about getting what I want the first time. Problem is, It's going to be a long term project, because of limited funds.
