So I tried to buy a Storm Lake Barrel for my 1911...

I decided on .40 Super, instead of .400 corbon.

So I decided on NE-GVT-40S-576-DI-US-07T-LPBT-BK... which is...

Make: 1911
Model: Government
Caliber: 40 Super
Ports: No Ports
Thread: 14.5x1mm LH (for suppressor w/ o ring)
Length: 5.755" Extended for 5" slide
Fit: Drop In
Ramp: No Ramp
Finish: Black (Isonite QPQ...)

The error I get is: "An item in your cart is unavailable due to legal restrictions in your locale"

If I remove the threading then there is no problem and I can order the barrel, but I really would love to get the threading and get a fake can for my 1911.

What is it about my barrel combination that isn't legal, or will I just have to contact Storm Lake directly?

Part of ITAR regs or some BS.

Same reason many AR's come with no flash hiders, or they are staked on.

Threaded barrels, flash hiders, NATO chamberings, are all to tacticool for export.

That answers that :( I guess I have to order one without the cool factor.

Edit: I can still order it extended which means I could get it threaded at a later date!
 
I have a threaded 400corbon barrel for 1911 government lenght available

I need money for my new thing...
So I am selling it as a complete kit, comes with:
400 or so brass
redding die set
cannelure tool
barrel + compensator

I bought a glock conversion barrel last year and they couldn't ship me a threaded one. Ordered an extended and had my smith thread it
