The book in question is a pictorial documentary of Hitler's life. I think the arm band is Hitler Youth? Looks original, slightly yellow by now

Wondering if someone could give me some insight into what the other stuff means!

Looks like a service number, and other data for a gunner in the Royal Canadian Artillery, named Charette. Not sure what A/TK means, possibly anti tank?

Awaiting info from those who klnow better.

Yes, RCA is Royal Canadian Artillery, and A/Tk Gnr is Anti-Tank Gunner. Gunner is the corps-specific usage in the artillery (British and British-modelled armies, e.g. Commonwealth countries) for the rank of private. C-122746 was Gunner Charette's army service number.

whatever it means, it was not written by somebody who writes German.

Because the German city of Wilhelmshaven is mispelled in a way a German couldn't do...
:D

That is a cut of cloth of HJ emblems from a roll. They were most likely used for the earlier sports shirts for both boys and girls.

The Nazis loved their symbolism.... just had to have Hakenkreuz's on everything! ;)

Brits found a good use for Mein Kampf. A book store that had a lot of copies before the war used them instead of sand bags on the roof.

Have a copy of Deutchland Erwacht that an uncle "liberated" on his 1944-45 tour of germany.
