So not all handguards are built to fit the same....

I recently purchased a used Dlask 10.5" upper off the board and noticed that the handguards do not sit very well in the delta ring. The diameter of the handguard appears to be too large for the ring so the ring sometimes sits a bit sideways. No big deal I thought. At the price of AR handguards I will just get a new pair.

Anyway I thought I would try the handguards from my Bushmaster and found that these did not fit at all due to the diameter of the handguards at the Handguard Cap.

My concern is how do you go about buying new handguards if it seems they all fit different? I've even considered trying Dlask and buying straight from them but I worried even they might not fit.

Anybody else run into this?:(

It sounds like the Dlask's handguard cap is out of spec. Big guys like Bushmaster usually have the spec of small parts like this established to be the same as what it is commonly used.

I have the same issue with IDS ARs and I've heard the norinco ARs have similar end cap issues.

Didn't have any problems with my Armalite end cap though.

Well I learned that my hand guard cap was too small the hard way and now my delta rings are showing some chrome.
