I cant even ask to write any name here .
scary , I don't want to hurt the community by writing down some names and tomorrow FRT list is getting bigger , 2 years is enough time for them to fill this list .
now what ?

The same as the last year. Unless something has changed since last night.

Buy before July 7th seems to be the theme.

A number of our sponsors have Canada Day sales right now, and probably worth checking them out, not only for the sale price factor and the support our retail community factor, but also as DT741 mentioned, for the upcoming July 7 factor.

One of our sponsors had a SA rifle that was $800 off, as part of their Canada Day sale. Many other sponsors have decent sales on not just firearms but accessories and ammo.

I personally will continue to buy after July 7 and not let any government legislation deter my ability to buy quality firearms while they are still available. But in my view, ANYTIME is a good time to buy a new firearm to add to the stable.

I believe that is this autumn unless you can show me otherwise?

Bill Blair's tweet states "Beginning July 7th, we will also be reinstating discretionary - rather than automatic - Authorizations to Transport firearms to locations other than a shooting range or home after purchase, ensuring more oversight over how these firearms are transported within our communities."

Thats for restricted firearms not the sale of NR firearms

Lol do you really think us not posting the names here will accomplish anything when the rifles are publicly listed on retailers' websites and elsewhere? This mentality that we need to be secretive only reinforces the notion that we're doing something wrong. We are not. We don't have to hide in the shadows.

Sounds nice, I'm on the fence about buying a T97 Gen 3 before the Lib registry BS starts
Congrats on your new rifle

At this point if you're in the market for a NR semi auto, it's almost at the point where you should buy anything you can get ahold of in the next 4 days.

I'm sure you're already familiar but https://arsenalforce.ca is a great website to track down in stock inventory across Canadian retailers.

A quick search shows that Wk180C's, WS-MCR's T97 Gen3's, Tavors, MR1's, B&T APC223, Type 81's and M10X's are currently in stock as well as an array of PCC's.

I hope everyone of these sells out this week.

Congrats on the new purchase, Northern Shooter, and thanks for that helpful link. This will help save so much time.

I don't understand why you keep saying July 7th, I haven't seen anything specific to that date and the registry

You're right, there doesn't appear to be any specific mention of the not-a-registry implementation specific to July 7th, however, it is the date that certain aspects of C-71 are being implemented and I for one wouldn't put it past the current Government to quietly start keeping records on this date, even if the official date is later this fall.

Worst case scenario I just bought another NR and now have some additional time to consider a second purchase this fall that will fall under the radar.

There will always be non restricted semis until they are either banned based on functionality, or restricted and non restricted cease to be distinguished.

Absolutely, I had no intention of dissuading you.

I would highly recommend buying some lowers from Kodiak Defence, they are available and 1/3 the price of the full rifle so you can pick up 3 "firearms" for the price of 1 prior to registration then never need to register them and complete them at your leisure
