So Rem thunderbolt ammo

yeah I would have to agree right now. I am going to be writing them about this for sure. I have 1500 rounds of the stuff atm and I am unwilling to shoot it.

Just like everything else, there made on a line by a machine...it happens at Lexus and IBM factorys too..dont feel too bad..probably one in a million

I kinda like thunderbolts personally, the hi-vel stuff works very well in my guns, maybe i just got a good brick but it was the most accurate diet i could feed any of my guns ... I ran out of them some time ago and switched to Winchester, I`ll go back to them when that brick runs out.

Same here..remmington's stuff has allways been super reliable and accurate ammo for me..

its not that I think they are bad. I am thinking of what could have happened if I missed it. I will write them and see what they have to say

How could you miss that? Even if you did it wouldn't chamber.

You don't expect the odd dud in a product that is produced in the 100's of millions every year and sells for $1.50 a box?

Chuck it in the garbage and move on, that's what I would do......

If it would have chambered,it would have fired..a wacky flight path would have been a worst case scenario
I would have grabed my utility knife and cut the flap off, slapped it in the mag and went about my day

Well said, Ronin.

reminds me one other day at the range, kids were shootin' and one kid had misfire, soo range officer moves in and feed that same round, klick - nothing, chamber it again, no joy again, so he keeps on doing it till I pick up that round and stop that non-sense. Rim was hammered flat all around from all those trys. Some of those range officers are persistent bunch...
