So this .22 is an AK but this 9MM is not an MP5?
that 9mm is more in lines with a M3 grease gun or a Port Said (also known as Swedish K). Those Port Said are cool little things.

well the bigger question and why people should be mad about classing guns is why is there a prohibited class but you cant even try or apply to get a prohib licence?

You can start a business and get a prohib license.
Such a license only exists for individuals is because confiscation without compensation isn't a popular stance with living people.
Grandfathering prohib licenses without issuing new ones can also be seen as confiscation without compensation, but isn't highly contested because the person not receiving compensation is dead. In the long term, it's an effective part of the disarmament plan.
Don't look for logic, it's just about removing your property and rights. Let a couple in, prohib a couple, wait for the next liberal/ndp government to enter the next phase.
This thread has about as much point as balls on a dildo. Is this just a rant thread? Yes the RCMP classification process is out of wack, please don't encourage them. The game your playing can only serve to give the powers that be excuses to prohib more firearms, instead of what I imagine is the goal on unprohibiting anything.

I don't see you mentioning you want an AK .22 look alike. I just see you wanting to stir a point that's been criticized, debated, analysed, proven, written about, by many and for a long time now. Displaying your disagreement by a mere comparison has as much weight as the RCMP's method of classification. Furthermore, the Mossberg Blaze-47 news is "old news" to this forum if you ask me. We're all allowed to disagree and rant, but best if you bring something constructive with it.
