There is one.
One of the dealers up top had the prototype built, but it was too expensive for series production.
Near as I can tell, the only use they make of it is as a marketing picture.

ok a serious question here
I don't quite understand the law on this
I would like to purchase the semi mg42/m53 in the near future,
since no one is offering one in Canada for the time being, I looked for alternatives in States and the only good one is the BRP Corp
http://www.brpguns.com/mg42semi.htm
can I import their receiver (legally) and get it registered as a semi? will that work?
They come unassembled with everything you need, would that receiver be ok and would it be registrable here in canada.
by reading the site they seem legal here,
-newly made receiver
-semi only
-closed bolt
-cant accept orig. full auto bolt and components
-seems perfect
I have read here on the forum that I have to personally make the receiver in order to have it classified as a home built, and get it registered
any info would be appreciated
thanks to any one replies
