I called my MP's office a week after the transfer of a restricted from another individual to myself and my MP's office contacted the CFC and then the OPP in Orillia and my transfer was done that day. The only reason I waited a week to do it was because I was in the bush moose hunting.
Call your MP's office and ask them how the registry is fast and easy when it takes over a month to complete a transfer. Because I could not go in person to my MP's office (some of us have to work right) I had to fax an authorization form with my reference number to their office and then it was all said and done after that.
Demand action from your member of parliament regardless of what party they are. If the MP is not CPC then they should work even harder to appease you with this because they are still trying to sell firearms owners on the registry being good.
