So... What's with the chromed red rifles???

Noticing the same guy has posted a chromed SKS, a chromed M38, on the EE...

There's been TT33 as well. Not my cup of tea, but can't lie, I've seen much uglier items in the EE. I'm not much for chrome on my truck or bike either but clearly others dig that stuff. I chalk it up to each their own.

He knows somebody that owns a plating shop ive gotten a few quotes from him, the cost of plating plus the firearm and his time his prices arnt that bad.

I like the Mosin M38 example. I'd personally remove the firing pin and hang that sumbi+ch on the wall.

I think his chromed/gold plated SKS's are sweet. Think about it, super rust resistant and you can comb your hair in the field!

As soon as i saw the M38 my first though was that a nice M44 would look better with the bayonet chromed.

Isn't chrome plating like that essentially reproducing parade weapons? Especially for the SKS? I thought I saw pictures somewhere of soldiers on parade with chromed SKS, and I know I have seen some pictures of soldiers standing "guard" on some function or another with chromed SKS rifles.

I like them too, there's a guy local (not sure if it's the same guy) that goes to the odd show and walks around with them and has a table. The TT-33 looked REALLY nice... had to make myself walk away.
