AR-15s or ARs in general? If you're talking about the latter, I'd like to point out the above wikipedia link and the ARX-160, Rx4 Storm and all of their variants.
I was referring to AR15's. There is a market for AR15's. A rather large one in fact. It seems to me a bit strange that a company the size of Beretta has never released their own variant to the North American market. I also find it odd that Beretta is not afraid of making black rifles and carbines but wont make a AR15.
Simple answer: Profit Margins. With an oversaturated North American AR market there simply isn't enough meat left on the bone to justify tooling up to build a rifle that would ultimately cut into sales of their other flagship black rifle designs.
