Socom Mark 23?

Wolverine will let you look at one for only $1,975.

I bet StrangeDay has one ;D

Wolverine's got one? I hope it's the type that have the serial number AE, I think those are the kinds that don't have the lock-out safety. But Wolverine's out in Alberta... :(

When Strangeday gets back I'll have to ask him... anyone else, though?

Thought Wolverine was in Manitoba?

Anyways, I got to put a mag through one last summer and what I found was that it was a) incredibly massive b)that the massiveness soaks up the recoil and c) that the gap in the side of the grip wear the safetey is has an edge that chews the #### out of my thumb. The owner also mentioned that spare mags are somewhat pricey and elusive. However, if I had money to blow I'd get one and just smooth out that edge

I'm a Mark 23 owner and HK junkie, fire away

Been wondering if anyone's seen 'em yet. I've become pretty curious. I didn't know such things as 'offensive sidearms' existed. :D

Anyone around the GTA area got one I could take a look at? I got a couple questions about the Socom Mark 23 that I'd like answered, if at all possible.

Mildot: Oh man....that is beautiful!!!!

Dave L.: Why would you care if it has the lock out feature? I just turned mine "on" and threw away the key. It's only an issue if you are using the feature. Don't let that stop you from buying a current model H&K.

love mine, got it from Wild West in West Edmonchuck mall. Won't say how much but it was cheaper than the norm. Very accurate. Got over 3 thousand 200gr swc through her. yes you can shoot lead. Just make sure its hard lead and clean it after every session. Only complaint is that it doesn't have a 3 shot burst:p . good luck

It's not so much the lock out feature I'm afraid of. I dislike the fact that the makers feel it has to have a lock out feature in the first place! It makes me feel patronised - like I am not 'qualified' enough to have something that doesn't have a lock out safety. In other words it's not the lock out safety I have a problem with it's the mentality that goes along with installing one.

My main concern is that my hands aren't going to be big enough for that thick, fat grip.

I'm still growing, but I don't want to have to take a gamble.

And Mildot... I am soooo jealous.

If you're worried about gripping the thing, I wouldn't. Owned one for a while now. The girlfriend has small hands (She's about 5'4") and she can handle it just fine. The only problem she has is trying to hold it up :p

Cheers
