So I finally sold out of the .303 world by selling off the last of my Mklll and No4s to fund other areas.
I am feeling guilty over this.

Do I have to exile myself from the Milsurp forum?

No worries, you made someone else happy. And once you decide to re-buy them you'll make the seller even happier. Have you seen the way prices on those babies are going up?

You should! Old dad sold his that he got from his old dad.... I had to buy it back (he sold it to a buddy of mine) for what he sold it for -400$. Full wood 1944 us property No.2 mk1, not the greatest shape but I can't describe how good it feels to shoot. My intention is to bag a moose with it and send grampa a pic :)

My list of guns that I wish I had kept is longer than the list of the guns I currently own. Haven't met a gun owner who can't tell the same story .....

,,,,,,,but,,,but,,,, I kept my Cooeys,,,,,and still have a Mauser or two,,,,,,,

:ang

I actually used to have six Garands at one time.
One from each US and Italian maker.
I bought them all for two to three hundred bucks.
When the prices went through the roof, I couldn't justify keeping them.

I've never sold a gun, just keep buying!? They don't cost $ in the lock-up so why sell? (I sleep fine at night in case you're wondering:p)

^If the Cooey's aren't pre-Winchester you may in fact be in hazards way of having your citizenship revoked. You can make amends with 3 or 4 SKS's and accompanying cases of ammo though. Something to keep in mind.:)

I just traded a nice old 1913 saddle ring 94 with a working 3 leaf express sight for a 1941 Longbranch and a Czech-rebuilt Israeli 98. I felt like I had betrayed somebody - me!

Very very seldom do I let anything go from my favored pile, but these two needed a good home.
