Happy holidays all,

Getting back to the precision game and really enjoy this set up. Was interested in what butt stocks everyone have upgraded too and muzzle breaks? I am going with the proven 6.5. Also what cgn vendors have the best prices on the rifle? I was thinking of going used route but only really saving the taxes with no proven history.

I'm looking for my first precision rifle and was checking out the RPR but the savage stealth and ashbury have caught my eye
Leaning towards one of the savages I think.
Is the ashbury worth the extra $$$?
Also interested in what brakes and stocks everyone else runs

I have the Stealth in 6.5 and it shoots great. I found it very easy to work up a repeatable load in this calibre. I did not really care for the collapsible butt stock, so I went with the MDT Carbine...I find it to be easier to settle behind the scope with this butt stock. I also went the route of a Heathen brake, even though there was not much recoil to begin with

I have one in 6.5 and it shoots amazing with the Vortex 6-24x50 PST I mounted. The only beef is the butt stock, dont like the 6 position adjustable type, not even on my AR. Still looking for a replacement for the butt stock, haven`t found one yet, but, thinking about trying an A2 I have and fitting a cheek riser on it if needed.

Most reviews put down the butt stock it will be the first upgrade.

I have one, shoots great. The stock works fine, but the problem for me with it is the sharp angle on the bottom. It’s harder to place a squeeze bag under it. I also went with the Heathen brake and it’s great.
