Soldiers In Texas Are Putting The Army's Newest Marksman Rifle Through Its Paces

Cool, now get the rifle in as non restricted and get the suppressor approved for civilians.

Hey if we have to wear seat belts for our safety, then we should be required to use suppressors to protect our hearing.

The rifle is in stores and $28,000 and those suppressors and flash hider combos are 7k that’s restrictive enough for me.

Ridiculous price, D/I or not any Military would be better to buy their own than something this overpriced and engineered by a country that can't even man their own military. I'd rather give my money to charity

Cool rifle yes

Piston rifles are the ####. DI are silly.
Any AR variant in a piston driven config that is easily re/re in the field and simple/robust in 7sixty2 would be a lovely rifle.
Totally agree on the concept of every squad having this weapon in their wheelhouse at all times....no brainer requirement.

This soldier now civvy working stiff needs it to be affordable tho so I need to skip the milspec malarkey :)

As for suppresors...well ... as long as they are unicorn status here I can't even bare to look.
As mentioned earlier...we should be able to leverage the nani state make everyone safe from themselves mentality into civvy suppressor use no?? Hell even mandatory??

I read another article somewhere that suggested that on top of slapping HK uppers onto their existing lowers, they were looking at adopting the 6.5 Grendel cartridge as a further stop-gap measure. Just imagine the access to high quality factory ammo a few years in once the arsenals are stocked.

I would pay the $200 tax for a suppressor, wouldn’t you?
Would love to not have to wear ear pro just for range day, even hunting would be nice

Stoners DI system is great especially when coupled with good quality clean ammo and a rifle length gas system.
Cleaner recoil impulse than piston and I owned a swiss.arms.

Don't try it. The response will be that the potential damage to your hearing is reason to ban shooting.

I really like the Fore End/Handguard they have on it. I assume they do not make one for 5.56 like that do they? Only seen Quad Rail and HKey from HK factory parts.
