I've been meaning to get around to adding a stock to my HK416D 'pistol' but I have yet to figure out how to do it.

I know it's possible, because a CGN member has done it, but has only said it's an "ATI piece" which is vague, but refuses to PM me back so I have no idea what the part is.

Goal but with a straight buffer tube

Today I finally got around to taking the back piece off to take a look at what's behind the "stub"

Any help would be great! :) Thanks guys.

That rear cut and shape looks awfully familiar made for airsoft m4 buffer tube; You can try using airsoft m4 buffer tube.

Thanks for the tip! I looked into it, and found a buffer tube at a local airsoft store that had one with that profile on it, a bit of tinkering and voila, it fit!

Snapped a crummy cell pic of it. It is possible after all.

Thanks again :)

Mall-copped the sh!t out of it.
