AFAIK, all new Savage rifles come with the tool to adjust the trigger. You have to remove the stock but trigger adjustment is easy.

How to adjust about 1 minute in... pretty simple just pull out of the stock.

Not sure about the mod, could be sketchy since the trigger will be so light. I will be leaving mine the way it is!!

All accutriggers are adjusted the same way. You can even go a step further and do a trigger job ht tp://www.rimfirecentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=227014

If you dont have the tool, just take a nail, cut off one end and then cut a slot in that end.

I cant get that darn "screw" removed to gain access to the trigger who does savage hire to tighten the screws ????? .
